What Verdara is, how it pays for itself, and how to tell the real thing from a copy.
What is Verdara?
An onchain giving fund on Robinhood Chain. Fees form an endowment that stays intact, and only the yield it earns is given to causes chosen by the community.
Where does the money to give come from?
Trading activity. A small fee on each trade flows into the fund — no donations, no token emissions to prop it up.
Is the principal ever spent?
No. The endowment's principal is preserved and put to work. Only the yield leaves — which is what lets the fund give indefinitely.
How does the fund grow?
Fees keep adding to the principal, and the principal keeps earning. As the base gets larger, so does the yield — and so does what the fund can give each cycle.
Who decides where the giving goes?
Stakers. Causes are proposed and voted on by the people holding and staking, not by a team. Every distribution is recorded onchain.
How do I take part?
Stake to earn a share of the yield and a vote on where giving goes. Details on staking open at launch.
How do I know it's real?
Everything settles onchain and is public. This site and @verdarafund are the only official sources — verify the handle and the link before trusting anything else.
